Serrano Pickled Garlic | EL YELMO (Glass Jar)
The authentic character of the Andalusian mountains transformed into a mild, crunchy, and healthy appetizer. At Bons Olis de Barcelona, we add El Yelmo Serrano Pickled Garlic to our pickle pantry, meticulously crafted in La Puerta de Segura, in the very heart of the Sierra de Segura (Jaén, Andalusia).
Prepared in a traditional way following the region’s recipes, this mountain garlic undergoes a careful curing process that completely eliminates its sharp sharpness and aggressive intensity, transforming it into an extremely light, digestive, and pleasant bite. Presented in an elegant 200-gram glass jar, it keeps all its natural properties intact, making it the ideal ally for lovers of pure southern flavors.

🌿 Tasting Notes and Kitchen Uses
A clean, balanced pickle with a texture that makes all the difference:
- Profile: It stands out for its well-rounded and subtly vinegary flavor (without the strong aftertaste of common raw garlic) and a taut, firm, and highly crunchy texture in every bite.
- Culinary versatility: The indispensable accompaniment to serve well-chilled at the center of the table during your family snacking moments alongside good Jaén Hojiblanca olives. They are also excellent for threading onto homemade skewers and gildas, chopping into gourmet salads, accompanying traditional legume dishes, or adding a crunchy touch to your pasta and Iberian cold cut plates.
